Class Changing Questions and the Attainment Class
Hmm. @MSG Commander (why @ no work for your name?), the quote button's not working right now.
Anyway, @dewfunk, I kinda forgot (just that quickly) where precisely I got my first Book of Discipline, even though I recall distinctly where I got my second one, which was the Villa Gippel fight.
I actually explored the room to the left of the entrance area before needing to enter the Villa, and if I didn't get the book from that room, than I got it from the Ancient Dungeon (not the Ancient Underground Pathway, though there are 2 Books of Discipline down there once you've gone deep enough). I got the 150 Mana needed for the Ancient Key right around that time, and so I completed the Ancient Dungeon then, before even meeting Milka for the first time, actually.
There are in fact 7 free Books of Discipline, and so one of them had to be among the treasures found when progressing through the Ancient Dungeon.

@J.D.Guy thanks man for the info, no worries I also can't remember what kind of treasures I got from Milka's Villa haha. However, my first book of discipline was actually the one I got from that geppel fight and I just got my second one at that Trial Forest.
Ah, I haven't even do any ancient dungeon quest just busy farming materials for weapon

@dewfunk, yeah, it's most likely in the Ancient Dungeon. If you've been fighting your battles diligently while gathering materials, you likely should have or be close to having 150 Mana. As soon as you do/can, you should get the Ancient Key and go through the Ancient Dungeon. There are no Monsters there, just 9 floors of Block Puzzles, one per floor.
Thank’s again man, just wondering do the treasures in the ancient dungeon really worthy? I mean in the whole game must of the treasures are kind of meh haha, one of the things i don’t like from this game :p Apparently you can buy the books directly from the antique shop lol
I'd say there worth well enough, though other than the Book, I don't recall what all was done there. There's also some Status Fruit, too, which is always nice.
You can buy books from the Antique Shop, but their expensive, and depending on how you approach battles, you'll likely not have the Mana to do so. (I actually made sure to have enough Mana to eventually get 3 Fury Rings, and eventually 5 Books of Discipline and 1 Book of Attainment, to match the 2 you get in the main game, as I played along; I did this mostly by fighting my way through the battles I could get through in the Ancient Underground Pathway to gather materials for upgrades sooner than normal, including Magic Fragments, which required repeat runs for the 2 specific Mining Points they have a chance to appear in, but that's not "normal" playthrough behavior for most gamers, so it might not be for you.)
While you can buy them -- and will need to do so unless you start a New Game+, as buying 5 Books of Discipline is the only way to get all 4 regular Classes for the party in one game -- doing so costs 50 Mana apiece. That's 25o Mana, or 1,250 enemies. Similarly, without Fury Rings, 75 apiece, leveling them up can be a tad bit of a chore. Also, you'll definitely want 100 Mana for one copy of a Book of Attainment, as there're only 2 before post game, and Attainment Classes stats per Level-up really help late game.
It's up to you though. You'd want to go through the Ancient Dungeon anyway if you're a compensation. Same for the Ancient Underground Pathway, once you're strong enough to take down enemies in the lower floors.

great explanation, thank's a alot. I kinda like battling around but normally for finishing quest or farming materials, since forming a good weapon is my kinda thing in this game and it's quite important also :p
anyway I already bought the ancient key, but how do i get or find the ancient dungeons? it's not a post game thing isn't it? I read in another threat you supposed to do it from the menu? but i still can't find anything.

Don't neglect your Armor upgrades in this game, either.
You can enter the two Ancient Dungeons from the Antique Shop's menu. Until you purchase the key, "Ancient Dungeon" is grayed out, but once you do, you can select it instead of buying items.

thanks again, I found it and completed it already it was quite puzzling though the last two were surprisingly much 'easier' than I was expecting lol. Yeah, I also upgraded my armors along with the weapon, though the amount of options you can get from both weapons and armors can be quite confusing to choose.
BTW how many times did you change classes before the post game? aside from the Ancient Dungeon book of discipline I just got another one from that quest against bird monster at Iatt path. I'm kind of conflicted in at least turning one of my characters into that Attainment Class before post game or just patiently trying to get all turned at the same time.

Floors 6 and 8 were hard, especially compared to how easy/straightforward 7 and 9 were. I needed to use poor, blurry phone pics on a flaky image hosting site from a GameFAQS person to get by them, 'cause they stumped me so hard.
For Weapon and Armor progression, consider following this guide. It'll tell you which end path does what, and you can decide what suits you based on that end path.

I followed it early, so I was working on my desired paths as soon as I got the Boost Manuals for them. I wish I had followed a similar guide for Justice Chronicles, 'cause that game overwhelmed me, and I haven't got back to it in a good while, partly because of that. (I'm just leaving the underworld, and it's been about a year, I think, including other Kemco and $10 or less games having been completed.)
Like I said, I battled a lot more than I likely needed to, and I made sure to limit my skipping of fights. To that end, I got all skills from all 4 Discipline Classes for each character, before switching to Attainment Classes together for all 3 towards the end of the game. I also found time to gather 3 Fury Rings on top of all that. This was all before the final battles.
As mentioned, the game gives 3 free Books of Attainment. One early in the second to last Dungeon, another near the tail-end of the last dungeon, and a third from the drop from the post-game boss (at which point, there's not much else to do but re-fight the Ancient Underground Pathway's boss, which can be done much sooner than that point). I change to the Attainment Classes as soon as I got the second free one, meaning I bought my third with 100 Mana.
How many Class switches you should do depends on some things. I've heard to that 2 Disciplines and then the Attainments are good enough for the main game. (The longer you Level in a Class before switching, to 40-50 or so, the better; Fury Rings help with this, if you've been investing in fights.) For the post game, the bonus boss is a little tougher, so in addition to a plan of strategy, I've heard that going through more than just 2 Disciplines might be safer, including making sure to be in the 40 to 50 range before switching, than finishing up with Attainments.
If you don't have an issue with them being mismatched in Level, you can certainly have one person go Attainment before the others. They might end up carrying the fights in some cases though.
