Alright, so I just got the airship, and my next mission is to go to the flying fortress. (And I'm not giving any other details; don't want to spoil anything.)

I noticed about the time I first reached the fishing village, that the monsters started to get a little bit harder, but still not too bad. But, by the time I got to the end of El Aldo, some of the monsters were quite difficult.

So, somewhere in between those two locations, there's some grinding to be done - but not a lot.

However.

There are a few battles in Dandong, just before you get the airship, that are all back-to-back, and that I just barely survived.

On top of that, when I entered the flying fortress (don't remember the name lol), the very first random encounter was with a large red dinosaur, that practically killed my entire party... So, I'm guessing that when you get the airship, you do need to do a lot of grinding before going on with the story. Mind you, I haven't done any grinding so far, but I generally upgrade my weapons either at the blacksmith or the weapon shop every time I enter a new town.

But that red dinosaur - man, he's a mean one.

Escape the red dinosaur. He is not worth it. Also you will find yourself fighting Boss Monsters as Regular Enemies later on ( A minor spoiler, the ship collapses ). I was Roughly Level 50 or 54 at that time, and the dinosaur monster was still tough, well not that tough to wipe my party.

During the Air Fortress, you will find a Thabitor Type Sprite in a Room( It is near the last Keycard Area ). That Guy is not AN ENEMY. He can completely heal you for free, so do talk to him.

Do not miss out any room in the Air Fortress, they have tons and tons of Awesome accessories and equipment.

Some Very Minor Spoilrrs ahead. Though I recommend to read them.

During the Boss Fight on the Air Fortress( I'll use a minor spoiler here so that you might know who I was talking about when you reach the boss ), you can either just defend yourself from her( Spoiler, The Boss is a Female ) and after a few turns, the battle will end. Or you can Kill her. Its your choice, I did the former, so I do not about killing her, but she does give a huge amount of Gold and exp according to my friend.

Also Many people forget, after the crash, you can still enter the fortress, and a new area will open up for you. Be warned, if you find the normal flying fortress hard, you seriously can't do the crashed fortress one.

Ok I'm about level 48 so I'll probably do some grinding. I just came across the Cave of Darkness and am currently grinding/exploring in this area.

Guess it's time to work on Menace for a few days, then come back to Machine Knight.

So I finally made it on to the airship. Beat the three rounds of machine soldiers.

For what it's worth, at around level 55, the red dinosaur is not hard IF Bell uses Ol Diff (raises all members' defense.)

In the battle where you kill the girl or not, do those choices lead to different endings?

So no difference then. Are there choices after that, which affect the outcome? I don't need to know what they are if they're spoilers, just so far whenever I get a choice it doesn't seem to change anything...

Alright I beat the girl you were talking about (I decided to kill her, but I saved on all 3 slots right before the battle, so later I can choose to let her live and see if it changes anything.)

The airship crashed to the ground, the game gave me a new Mission "As a Chooser" or something like that - and it told me absolutely NOTHING about where I'm supposed to go next!?

(Note for anyone following this thread: I used Ol Diff in the battle against the girl and she only did like 70-100 damage per hit, which is nothing.)

Go inside the Airship. After some traveling you will see a broken wall, enter it and new area shall appear, filled with Bosses as normal enemies lol.
