Maybe Kemco or EXE CREATE have a fetish on maids considering that they include many of them and Maidame Curie (and in Cross Jolie too) even got her own portrait. ;).

I wouldn't Be Surprised if they had lol, since even the Maids Have a Variety To them. For Example Jolie and Maidame. I mean yeah just looking at them shows, Kemco Adds More Variety in there Maids then there Protagonist lol.

Also Looking At Jolie's Portrait.
Notices the Fighter Glove. Yup Something is about to go down lol.

Though, it is kind of sad that we weren't given the chance to visit the Realm from where Maidame Curie comes. Considering Maids power (and the fact that Maidame Curie loves to torture people despite her innocent appearance) this realm probabably would be for level 900+, but it would be pretty nice to get some background on her as well. And why she calls the other maids her sisters. Yet, she experimented on Jolie... no wonder Jolie has nightmares about torture chambers....

Sadistic and Masochistic Maids( In Before MSG Commander Comes in, these were words are used in Asdivine Menace >_> )

I would Like, If Maid World was an Extra Dungeon like Trial Tower In Hearts. That would be one world I would like to know about lol.
Also Jolie Pretty Much Loses it While hearing Maidame Curie's Name Lol.

It's all good. B)

My only concern is to keep people from swearing on the forum. And that's mainly because my nephew - who sadly is grounded from games until he gets his homework caught up - started playing Symphony of the Origin when he was only like 7 or 8? (It's hard to remember but anyway he was very young.)

So, I know for a fact kids play these games - and that's why I want the site to be "kid friendly."

But when we're talking about maids and torture etc., that's straight from the game - that's fine.

And on the subject of maids - I have to say my personal favorite is actually the maid from Eclipse of Illusion, who you can unlock to play as your 5th character. She acts all proper (like you expect a maid to behave), but when she gets in battle, man she's awesome! :woohoo:

It's good. It's sort of reminiscent of Symphony of Eternity or Destiny Fantasia, as far as game play goes. Same kind of battle system and everything.

Eclipse of Illusion has job classes, and you get armor that you can "summon" in battle (random encounters or boss battles). I really liked the story as well, and the bonus bosses are incredibly challenging (well one in particular.)

Also as I recall, it's a decent length - maybe 16-20 hours?

Anyway I would highly recommend it.

Looked at that Eclipse thing on YT, and the battle somehow reminded me of a certain game for NDS - Radiant Historia. If You have some free time, I suggest giving it a shot. It has really interesting storyline, like in every Japanese game it is twisted..., and gameplay.

Okay, I'm a little late to the party on this one, but I finally got the True End so I thought I'd share my thoughts:

Story line:

I think the story in this one is much better than in Dios. There are still some places where the dialogue is a little "off" but nothing that really hurts the story. I really like how Izayoi explains to Nemesis how the 3rd-time Izayoi is not the same as the one she knew - that part of the dialogue was really good.

Battle System:

I love the skills! But I'm disappointed that magic didn't get any kind of update. After the first 9 or 10 hours of gameplay, I honestly stopped using magic altogether (and my skills were so powerful and so much fun, I never did bother with unisons, even though I had really meant to at the start of the game.)

Characters:

I still don't care for Noelle as a "childish" spirit. I think they did a great job of developing all the main characters, and the child Noelle works - it just doesn't work for me.

Litany is by far my favorite character all around (and she has the best skills in my opinion.)

Izayoi - Having played both Dios and Menace, I'm actually starting to like Izayoi a lot. In Dios he's really aloof and standoff-ish (and other characters call him a wimp), but here's why I think they did it that way.

Izayoi is the deity of Asdivine, but up until the story in Dios, he's basically been there by himself, all-powerful and in charge of everything, but no real relationships with others. Sure he sort of interacts with sprites and spirits, but he doesn't really have any strong connections with anyone. (And in Dios, he doesn't even give humans a second thought - just, "they live, they die, they do whatever they want in between, why should I get involved?")

So he doesn't interact with anyone at all before Dios starts, and then when he finally does, it takes him two games worth to start to understand how to interact - how to "play well with others." Of course he's going to be dense about a lot of things because he has no prior experience with these kinds of relationships.

Also he is all-powerful (since he's THE deity in the universe), but he doesn't abuse his power - or even show it off. He's just very casual, unassuming, "live and let live" - unless you put his world, or the lives of his friends, in danger. So, he's not a typical "superhero" type of protagonist, but then he doesn't have to be - he already owns everyone just by virtue of who he is.

So, I think that Izayoi's character is actually very well defined, considering his role as the deity. (Now having said that, I will add that I wouldn't want to see any other protagonists with this same kind of attitude - but for Izayoi I think it actually works.)
