Ok I hope that everyone who can understand the story will enjoy playing it
I know from my own experience a long time ago when I accidentally had a French copy of Kingdom Hearts. I didn't realize it until I did put the disc into PS2. I don't know much words in French so I missed most of the story but gameplay was so addicting that language didn't matter at all (and the graphics were and still are amazing). So I completed the game and then bought English version of it to know what was going on and I liked it as well. (sorry for off-topic post but that's the best experience I had aside from final fantasy series).
I just started reading up on this game in particular and I ran the page through Google Translate. The title of this game is called "Ever Dark Clock Tower - short story". I managed to translate the description and it only confirmed my fears.

It looks like in the future, we may be getting monthly short RPGS IF Kemco decides to translate it to English along with the bimonthly Exe-Create games. With that information in mind, I looked at January's RPG and found the reviews were talking about how short the game is.
We don't make mistakes. We just have happy accidents.
Everdark is a good game and the part 2 of the short stories rpg. it seems that archlion saga is now in english and is part 1. everdark has no relation aside of common tileset, music sometimes but has more puzzle and last a little longer than archlion saga.
overall archlion saga is 3 hours while everdark is 4 even in japanese. it's not the lagage that make the game longer but some puzzle that can take time. i admit i'm not fond of them even if i found it refreshing compared to archlion saga which is both sad and linear.
i hope they will translate the third one, not sure of the name, arbeastia. i'd like to play it now in japanese since it is probably not so long or difficult. i wonder why everdark was released in japanese but it's good to have it.
