armor types/job equipment usability issues

Ok so i have my Iria set as dragonit job right now. In my inventory i have a light armor class piece of equipment named "lightweight armor" but i can't seem to equip that piece of armor on ANY job...hero/warrior/dragonite/priest/mage/wizard/thief/robber...anyone know if it's just a bug, or do you have to unlock the light armor ability on one of the dragonite plates? Any help would be very much appreciated.

One more sc..also as a slightly off current topic question...what is the max level for every job? I know that thief plates turn into robber plates, priest to acolyte, mage to wizard, and warrior to knight...but how many levels for each class plate name i guess is what im trying to figure out.

Most jobs have 3 different Growth Plates that can teach you new abilities. However to get job to its max state (I mean when you have the specific best job tier and level you need a total of 14 Plates that can level up that specific job. It can be any plate suitable for that job. Skills need specific Growth Plate to get the skill. And there are weapon-based Growth Plates as well which require specific weapon type equipped to use it.

I don't have this game anymore on my Android device so I can't tell what job can equip it (but you'll definitely find much better items in game). And check if you missed any job (except Idol and Deity which are IAP only).

To the second question about max level of any job.

All jobs can get up to level 5 and if it has a stronger version of it you can level it up which changes the job to its better version level 1. Note that you can't use skill if it's learned from the higher tier of Growth Plate than the character job. Example : You can't use any Brigand King Growth Plate Abilities using a Thief.

Don't worry. When you get to Goddess Shrine, you'll be flowing in EP at that place (however you'll want to check all areas to see what plates still give skill upgrades (or job upgrades).

And another tip: Don’t fully clear the plates if you want to upgrade skills only (unless you always keep 300+ EP with you for that but you shouldn't leave that much unused EP. Always check if any plate gives no skills upgrade. Delete all of those growth plates or fully Clear them for Stat boost.

And you don't spend points on maxed jobs or skills. Game knows that and even if you get same skill or job level that is currently maxed out it will require 0 EP because it's already done.

warrior, hero, and soldier class teirs can all equip any gear with the word armor in the name

if robe is in it then it is magic armor

mail for light

armor for heavy
