Yup, the Metal Monster area is on the larger Northern continent just northeast of Bart Prison. It looks like a wedge-shaped peninsula on the top of the continent, and is separated from the mainland by mountains, so you need to access it by boat. Also, the 2 islands on the middle part of the far west of the map spawn enemies that drop much more xp than the intermediate dungeons (but less than Hell).

I Always farmed on Higher Levels of Hell Dungeon, Never encountered a single metal monster in game, and i already cleared it lile 2 times. Guess i was just unlucky
