Slots Question.

Don't worry as next area can destroy everyone even faster. Also, once you find the Boss if you're really going to try fighting him just to see how hard he is at the moment, wait until you see auto save. Don't use Scryer Parchment as you might waste it without being able to win. And because Parchment sells for 10 Blue Gems it's best to keep any of these.

I got a little (well, more than a little) lost trying to find the last blue button, so I teleported back to Norwind, cashed in a mountain of weapons, consolidated my inventory, got 7k EXP from the fireplace guy, and will head back to the tower tomorrow. I'm at level 50. From reading your posts I know not to make a futile attempt on the boss.

BTW...is there an autosave going in and out of the tower (1st floor) just like for towns? If so, that is something I can use, so I would not have to slog all the way from Norwind should I have trouble finding the last blue button.

Auto-Save works everywhere except Larkwood Mines and if you were in c*****o up to 5 minutes earlier, however at dungeons or overworld you can do auto save every 30 minutes without activating auto save, normal save or after loading the game. Auto Save works at all Towns without any timer.

I'm 20k off from Level 71. I finally completed one Cave and defeated its Boss

He had 620k hp and I had to use 2 Greater elixirs and 1 Life in a Bottle and even then last few turns were survival as I had no mana at all. But it was worth it as I got a weapon that heals a whooping 298 HP/MP at random times. That won't be useful for bosses but at times I have every enemy stunned, it'll be OK. Also, I found an accessory that raises all stats by 30

I need Focus upgrade. Also, I might try to get some bottles from c*****o as buying them is expensive even with all the gems I found so far.

That must have been some titanic struggle. At least you got rewards better than the green gem

I'm ready to cry. I've been through the tower many times, but still can't seem to find all the blue buttons. Part of it is lousy design: if I step on a button that has already been clicked, it should say "It has already been clicked." Instead it says "The button clicks into place" which makes me think that this was the missing button. So then I backtrack to the door, and of course it is still locked. This has happened several times. I even got destroyed once when I was ambushed by the huge mob and they all resisted the wave of paralysis.

Rather than get frustrated again in the tower, I finally stopped off at that hidden area on the way to the tower. I got all the treasure, but by now they were not of much use. I'll take a break and see if I can figure out where all the blue buttons are in the tower. I did get a map, but I don't see it in my inventory. I hope it shows up when I re-enter the dungeon.

Wait.. Did you never see a map for the area? It's shown at Upper right corner of your screen. Unless you got a Map of Divining which goes into your inventory.

Also, a tip: From the Second Floor all paths (as far as I can remember) lead to the button.

Now I can normally survive most fights in caves (unless I'm ambushed or enemies gang up which happens rarely except it happened now). Also, I searched another cave, this time it was way easier, idk why. I got some new equipment.

Also, if I want, I can re-fight the Boss as one guy in "Town" allows fighting any Boss I've dealt with in that area.

I saw a button at the cave I explored however I couldn't find the way to it. I'm in desperate need of Map.

That's a cool feature. Do you get anything besides gold or exp when you re-fight?

I tried it and I didn't see any drop, maybe it has a chance to drop something just like original.

The Bosses are quite tough.. I've beaten one more Boss without anyone dying (Boss HP is around 800-850k) but the one I'm currently at has deadly Fire Effect with which he killed my party twice, I was close to killing that one but I need a spell that negates all debuffs.

Level 73 reached, found the Caves area map which helped me to get cool equipment. I don't need Potions to heal mana at random battles (for now).
