A million gold!! Whew....you should be able upgrade everything now. I've used about 280k gold to date. I have 2 weapons for each character filled with str, hp, int. I haven't found enough speed spirits to do anything there.

I didn't spend long in the dungeon, but I did spend some (can I put in an understated emoticon here) time breaking/enhancing. Paid off: that battle at the end of phase 1 was a piece of cake--two turns I think, no trouble at all. I now have lots of new weapons that I haven't yet examined. Picked up only 2 meaningful armors in that last section (and one useless one). I still don't have a mountain of gold (as you do), but I should have enough if I need to go through another cycle of break/enhance.

More to the point: which dungeon did you grind on in hard mode? The easy dungeon doesn't yield much, and I just went into the normal dungeon (on hard) and that didn't seem interesting. I also only have a 40% extra gold on a single weapon.

I just did the Hard dungeon (on Easy difficulty) and had to stop at the end to grind to level 85.

(And even then I spent 100 points to continue the boss battle after I got killed, because his health was only about 5% remaining and I just wanted to finish it.)

But - I entered the dungeon at Level 51, and in about an hour and a half was level 85, with 7 million gold total (counting what I already had when I started.) At the 20th floor, I was leveling up after every 1-2 battles. Which means I probably should have just stayed there, and grinded to 95 or 100, but I got impatient.

To face the boss of the Hard dungeon you will need to be at least level 85.

But after that, the final dungeon opens up (which I haven't done yet but recommended level is 80). Also, you can now fight 3 different bonus bosses:

Fleon (who you unlock after beating the Easy dungeon)

Some Emperor from another game, who's name I don't even recognize (opens up after the Normal dungeon)

and "Enna" - the ultimate boss (recommended level 999) - who for all intents and purposes looks to be "Enah" from Alphadia Genesis. Though, I have not bothered to fight her, so I don't know for sure. (opens up after the Hard dungeon)

Anyway, at level 85 - I think I'm probably strong enough to finish the game, and then decide if/when I want to come back to the Hell dungeon.

Its the normal dungeon actually, at floor 15( the boss floor ) yields the best items as well as the most satisfactory results. ( please note, that I grinded 4 hours, this value enough should tell you, how I grinded lol ) ( Also I forgot to add that I also had a DECA and Mini monster effect added to the weapons ( like 40 something ) indeed helped me in the grind )( But I still remember that I still got less encounters with them since I used Fever Over Kills almost every time ( with EXP and Gold UP selected almost whenever they came ).

19 hours to Normal End. And every minute of that was fun. I don't know how they could possibly have more to do but I guess we'll see. ;)
