That’s the best way to deal with this situation

And, sending a message to @msg-commander will help too, he should come soon to delete the Scammer.

Stuff happens. Some people are jerks like this scammer and all you can really do is ignore them and hope MSG removes them.

Similar to someone else who posted above, I found something resembling a spam message from “trista”. I deleted it before I could take a screenshot though. (I mean, I thought that account was deleted.)

Your best bet is NOT to open any private messages you receive from users you don't know (users who aren't active and aren't posting in the forums). It's best to ignore that messages. The likeness that a fresh person will really want something from you is so small that you don't have to care at all about it (and that fresh person can always post their question in the public forum).
