Hey
Hi there, I normally dont do these kind of forum introductions, because, you know, hardly anyone sees them, but this is a small forum so I thought it wouldnt be bad to get to know some of the users. So lets start with my short story:
It has been a while since I played my first kemco game (Journey to Kreisia), I really liked it, so I decided that after all this time it would be nice to try some popular ones. I got interested in a certain one called Unlucky Mage but to my surprise I found nothing at the playstore, seems to be the only kemco game not available on android (really "unlucky" huh)...
So the only way to play this game seems to be with iOS or with a 3ds, and I have neither, good start.
My only options were using a fishy emulator of iOS (game is free on the appstore), or the eshop and Citra.
Anyhow, after reading for a while I can safely say that any iOS emulator you find out there (asides of appetizer, but you need to pay to use it) are basically just skins for your phone with emulator on their name to look fancy. Good thing I didnt install any of them because they looked fishy as hell.
So, here I am now, waiting for a discount in the eshop because I feel a little bad about paying full price for a game I could have played for free
The moral of the story is, iOS was a mistake... and you better have money if you want to play UMage
That is why my first post is about different versions and stuff (fun fact, the steam releases of the games seem to have some missing or censored cgs), also thanks lemmythelenny and jesusalva for answering, I thought that post was going to stay unseen.
Well I hope I didn't bore you all with this, I just didn't wanted this post to be short haha.
Hope to get along with you all and if you have any recommendations let me know, I have a lot of free time lately hahaha

Hello, Welcome to RPG Insanity!
Journey to Kreisia is still one of my most favourite Kemco games, so good memories with it... Especially the plot was pretty nice fr a change.
Pretty sure Unlucky Mage WAS released on Android, because I played it. But it was released using a different title (Unlucky Hero). I guess Kemco changed the title when they ported it to 3DS. It's a nice title with a small plot twist at the end. Definitely worh playing (but be aware that it's an ancient ame, so the controls &c. might be a little bit off...).
We might not be very big forum, but since we're small we're much more friendly than we would be if the forum would be bigger

Yeah I remember JtK being really good, I think I am going to play it again before trying anything else.
About UMage, I looked for Unlucky Hero too but I still found nothing, I wonder why the game its not available on the playstore anymore, I thought it was one of their best games.

Journey of Kreisia is a nice little game about a MC playing a hero. And you have to play the game twice to get the full story of it (which nota bene is a surprising plot twist).
On the other hand Unlucky Mage is a pretty dark game with some things that perhaps should not be said and done in the game. Too bad the game is also pretty ancient, and playing it can be a real nightmare (similar to playing first Alphadias). In other words, it's a game for masochists

Also:
Unlucky Hero is a game I always was curious with, but never saw it on google play store either.
And given Google gives me up to 80% discount on Kemco purchases (this year it got close to 90%
), there's no way I'm going to buy it elsewhere.
PS. Even with almost 90% of discount I still think a lot of their games are too expensive for my personal finances. (Well, I already bought almost everything which catched my attention, so...)
