That would be great if you could! I'm thinking we need two lists. One that says this is all the weapons for each type (all the swords, staves, etc.), and one that's all the different skills for each type.
Or Maybe combine them, so for example, list all the sword-type weapons along with all the sword-type skills, and so on for each type.
1. What is the best sword, staff, axe, and mace? And how can I get them? For skills, let me decide by myself.

1. Best weapons are listed in the Legendary ? Weapons thread.
2. STR etc goes up to STR 3, VIT 3, and so on. If you add STR to a weapon and get 25%, you can dismantle the weapon and sometimes get a STR 2 orb. Get STR 2 to 50%, and dismantle to get STR 3.
STR 3, VIT 3, INT 3, max is 100%. Use the Weapon Fairy to get the best odds. Results are always random so save your game before you upgrade or dismantle.
3. The best effects are STR or INT (depending if your weapon is physical or magic), VIT, then after that, whatever you like. Armor, well, all I can say is just get every treasure. Also buy armor in each new town whenever you can.

Well pretty much what MSG wrote..... I'll add a bit more to what he has written.
1. You cant select skills, actually...... you got a weapon with a uber weak skill? well you cant do jack, and have to stick with it. Mostly Endgame Weapons dont have weak skills. Fairy Garden on Hell Dungeon, Floor 200+ Gives you best skills, like Hell Buster, All Hi-Revive, All Parameters up etc
2. What MSG Wrote, but you will need two STR +25% to get a STR 2 Spirit
3. VIT First, STR Second, SPD 3rd, And then your Favorite effect.
Yurius Drops the best Armor ( Legend Harness, Legend Armor etc ) the number of time you beat him. The Other best armors before Legend Armors are given in Endgame Dungeons in Treasure Chests.
It took me about 22-24 hours to complete the story (but that also includes 3-4 hours grinding in the Fairy Garden, in Easy and Normal dungeons.)
Several more hours to grind to level 999, to beat Enna on Easy difficulty. (I don't know how many hours 1oldtymer spent to beat Enna on Hell mode but I'm sure it was a lot!)
So... Actually it's short story game anyway. Only for the side quest took more hours... I think I should hurry to finish the story. Then, take challenge in Fairy Garden... Thanks...
Anyway, it's a pain to play in Hell Mode from the starting. I have to stop move and grind to continue the story...
