Singrette Stronghold Entrance

Need help. Entered the Singrette Stronghold but I can't get past the barrier. What do I need to do?

IIRC you need to return to Elvust and find the NPC barrel seller who will give you the Barrel role crystal. Visit one of the maidens and have her grant the role. Equip it, and return to the storehouse.

Oops, the barrel role was for the storehouse entry. : facepalm:

As you can tell my memory is terrible. Maybe it was keys or magic fragments in the treasure chests? I don't remember anything tricky about it. But....as we've seen above....sigh.

It was probably so long ago the details get lost. It's a head-scratcher; I've been through the stronghold many times, grabbed all the treasures, etc. Just 5 defense magic stones but nothing I can use.
Can't find any other walkthrough on-line to help. Just grinding for now hoping to gain enough strength to move along in the arena. Other than that I'm stumped.

I found my notes! The 5 magic defense stones are what you need to make the barrier disappear. It won't disappear automatically. You have to interact with the barrier. You should get one of those quick scenes like "Oh, these magic defense stones should remove this obstacle."

If that hasn't worked for you, there might be a glitch in your game. Not good news, but at least now you know.

Yes I made it through! Since I'm using the Bluestacks emulator, I actually had to click the barrier to interact with it.
