A buff refers to an temporary increase in stats caused by skills that have "ATK up, DEF up, etc." It's a fixed percentage increase of one's stats and lasts for a set number of turns before it wears off.

You should do the 2 post game battles, as they are a little more interesting. If you made through the final boss of the game, this two extra shouldn't be a big problem. One of them is the Hit-Point favorite (it appears in a few of their games), the White Pancho! (There is a post in this forum about the post-game).

Altavista Chronicles does have one tough boss on "Expert" if you try him at his max level of 255.

Yeah I did well defeating both of the post-game boss after reading the forum about it!!

Right now I’m doing Easy mode for Alvastia Chronicles. Lol.

What are the rewards for beating those 2 bosses (bomber squad & white poncho)? Also are there any post-game ultimate equipment like in the other Kemco games?

I don't think there is any ultimate equipment available. And I don't recall any special rewards for those post-game monsters.

I think I finished the game 100% and there are no specific “ultimate weapons” in this game, fortunately the game shows the location of every treasure chest in the dungeons/towns so you can find all the available weapons and choose whichever that you like.

My final weapon choices are the moonlight swords, demon rifle, and darkness whip.

Bomb boss give +20 crit power stat up treasure
White pancho give useless treasure

My lategame setup

Ross
Moonlight Sword, Spike Armor, Wyvern Ring, One Time Miracle (after max lvl change to atk boost one)
He do Final Slash and backup support with revive

Margaret
Vlad Rifle, Barrier Shield, Forest God Ring, Destruction Light
Main DPS with Haphazard Shot (it deal less than Ross and Marshma strongest attack but HS need less SP and she can reload)

Tee
Rune Whip, Elven Guard, Concealment Ring, Flowing Life Force
Main support with Morning Call, Healing Eye, Fighting Song. With 75 eva he disgustingly durable. Using weaker whip because 7 sp all heal makes party more fluid.

Marshma
Hunter Ring, Vital Ring, Guardian Ring, Unbreakable Right
Same ass Ross as backup DPS and support with Pillar of Fire and Life Flames
