Well I'm still playing the game (though not entirely sure why...)
It's actually not bad but it's definitely not the type of game I think of when I hear the name "Kemco."
You do have to do a lot of pointless grinding - or fork over a ridiculous amount of $$$ to buy crystals to speed things up or buy "useful items" in the IAP Shop. Like, 6 crystals for $.99 - and 6 crystals won't buy you a thing.
25 crystals to "summon" ONE Class Soul; 150 crystals for ONE legendary weapon or armor. You do earn a LOT of crystals through game play, but I'm not sure how many. But I know I will not pay real money to get ahead in this game and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else either. The cost is literally astronomical (and, if this is a sign of things to come, I'm afraid I might reach a point where I will no longer support Kemco.)
I don't mind paying $5-10, every now and then, to buy enough Points to unlock EVERYTHING I could possibly want in a game (Bonus dungeons, extended scenarios, etc., in games where it's not really possible to unlock it all just through game play). But for this game, the highest dollar amount you can spend on crystals at one time is like $40 US. That's as bad as all the other MMOs on Google Play.
The one thing - the ONLY THING - that appeals to me about Elio, is that I'm pretty sure it has an actual "End." Unlike Brave Frontier and the like (which, I honestly loved Brave Frontier when I first came across it, but after 5 or 6 weeks of playing everyday you realize they just keep adding more content to keep sucking your money... and if Kemco tries to pull that with Elio I for one will not be happy about it.)
I'll post again in a couple days if I'm still playing the game.

First of all it is free, so if this doesn't stink , then I don't know what does. The game has no Ads. Yes I didn't encounter even one Ad, and that alleviated my worries, since the game started feeling like an MMO after some areas, but let me do make it clear that it is not an MMO, it only has traces of MMO elements like Money Leeching, insane grinding and insanely OP bosses ( they are only OP since you won't have the necessary Armor or Weapons to take them on ).

I'm working on finishing the Class list for Eclipse of Illusion (Item and Enemy lists are DONE!) :woohoo:
Once I do that, I plan on starting a few topics and possibly creating some kind of "dungeon guide" in the Walkthroughs for Elio - basically just a page for each location, listing the monsters, the boss, their "attributes" and drop/steal items.
Also would love to understand better how to enhance/evolve the Class Souls. I think if I could figure that out, then this game wouldn't be quite such a pain.
I may start later today, or it might be later on in the week (we're just starting to get warm Spring time weather here, and I haven't felt the sun on my face in months... So I'll be checking the site everyday but my activity level may change depending on the temperature.

Hmm best part of this game to me is
You can make full party of girls
Thats all
For now i just go get a class
To training ground enchance class lv by sacrifice other N class
Go to 4th dungeon last stage use fever ticket daily to get quorite
Then go class up
Becoming SR Class is easy but still to beat game need UR which is need luck and urge to spent money buying crystal

Actually I beat the main game with only SR units. (Well, up to the credits. After the credits there's a bonus dungeon but I haven't done it yet.)
I spent $0.00 on the game, but took me about 22 hours total and probably 20 of those hours were grinding.
Not really, but it sure feels that way lol.
Anyway you can beat it with SR, and without spending money.
EDIT: Hi sylphries! *waves* Long time no see. :cheer:

Lemmy,
If you ignore the dialogue (and the names) completely, the game is better. :silly:
Treat it like a straight up dungeon crawler and just focus on evolving troops. I personally used all Dark element types and this worked really well. (Otherwise you need separate Wood, Fire, and Water teams, and that many units just isn't worth the effort.
1oldtymer,
I will do a review later today (when I'm at my pc.)
For those who don't like this type of game, don't bother. The final battle is NOT rewarding - it's just "Okay, you're done. Woohoo."
For those who do like this type of game - definitely give it a shot (but do not spend real $ - if you have $ to burn just send it to me. ) It's a fun time killer, but in my opinion it's not really engaging like their RPGs usually are.

Ignore Dialogue and the name. I mean how do you ignore dialogues in an RPG game. I need this skill MSG, give to mmmeeee.
/* Rant Start
( seriously though, the game has such a cringy Dialogue and name structure, which made me literally cringe *yes I know that was redundant*; no wonder I uninstalled it after burning 8 or so hours into it. Don't be stupid and don't give this game much time folks. Even the Dungeon( if you can even call them dungeons ) are so lack luster, I wonder, who the heck came up with such an atrocious idea. The very notion of this game felt questionable)
Rant End */
