Complicated plot (spoilers!)

Just finished the main game, and I think it has the most complicated conflict out of all Kemco games I've played so far. Not counting the main characters, individuals, and small-time warlords, there're five large factions in the game:

two countries having a war with each other;
aliens in league with one of the countries, who use humans to build a superweapon (titular Sword of Elpisia) to kill a cosmic horror;
said cosmic horror, who's not really sentient and  likes to eat the aliens;
other aliens, who use the cosmic horror to warp between planets and have a beef with the first aliens.

All in all, I don't remember another Kemco game with so many important factions.
