The best equipment can be synthesized by the second dwarf blacksmith who appears in the dwarves hamlet after you beat the final boss. They require zeradonal ores to make and each cost 10,000 gold.

each character gets 2 weapons and 2 armor choices, one of them has 30 merit points to distribute, and the other has less points and default points given to fixed stats. Some also has passive abilities like attacking all enemies or absorbing certain elements, you can choose according to your style. The ores are found in the post game dungeons either from chests, or enemy drops or steals. The dungeons are found north west of the dwarven hamlet, and the other in a small island in the high sky area.
