Hello I would like to ask if anyone has a list of the size 1 monsters in the game and which among them is the best damage dealer.

Most are size one.  You can see all the sizes at japanese wiki which can be translated to English via Google Chrome browser.  I have no idea which is strongest.  I tended to use Lizard Man (lizar).

[SPOILERS!!!] It's been a while everyone. And guess what? I'm back now!

So for starters I have been doing some research on Summon Mate and have found some pretty good monsters of all sizes. But to start off with let's talk about the pros and cons of the different sizes.

The max number of monsters one can have in party is four, but the max size allotment is five. So to make it simple a party of four size 1s, three size one's and a two, two size two's and a one, two size one's and a three (gods, certain dragons), and finally a single size two and three together. Phew and that is all of them ? (I think). If I missed any possible combinations please correct me, but I believe that is all of them.

Now onto the next part. While Size ones are a good choice for a party for their variety, they tend to be the squishiest of the sizes.  A party of one's can easily be wiped by say a strong size three monster with two size one's to heal and/or buff it. So I have found that it is better to max out the size allotment than to have all one's.

That said I have been compiling findings as to which monsters have the best potential for their size. I will start with size one. While granted it takes a lot to make these two, the Dark and Light Queens are by far the best monsters for their size. But be prepared for A LOT of grinding.
The best place for that is in the post game, Monster Road 3
.

The fastest way to grind is to have a monster that can deal 1000 damage to all enemies in a single spell. If you come close to that a back up monster or two set auto physical to finish off any that survive will suffice.

Spells like Prominence, Firestorm, Mudflow, Rainstorm and the like are good candidates for this kind of damage.

In a few days I will be finished making a Light Dark Queen. The process I use is simple, but time consuming. It is as follows: pick the monster you want, break it down to ALL of its combinations, max out its level (A LOT OF GRINDING), happy and lucky rings are a must, and obtain two copies of each monster that will eventually make the target monster.

Now on to the fun part! In order to avoid more endless grinding, watch those ads from the lantern in Mirror Castle until you you think you have enough EXP POTIONS. This may take quite a few videos, but it is well worth it. If you don't know which room it is in, then you really shouldn't be reading this faq ?. Once you have enough potions go back to Shrine City. Before you begin fusing equip the first of the pair with the stat stone of your choice. And repeat the process until you have your monster. This way you have an extremely powerful version of your monster.

Now for an example. Let's take Cerberus, a physical striker. To make one from scratch one will need the following: Werewolf + (Snow type), another Werewolf, and either one more Werewolf or a Silver Werewolf. This combination in this order will result in a Cerberus. The first thing to gather is all of the monsters needed which are six Werewolves, and four Byakko Once all of those are gathered go watch those ads for the EXP POTIONS. In this case you will need nine potions. Then the grinding. Make sure to equip those rings. Once they are maxed out fusing. For a hard hitting Cerberus I would use the power stone, and for a fast one I would use an agility stone. Then equipping the stone combine the pairs, to make three +1 Werewolves and two +1 Byakko (making sure to swap the stone for each fusing). Then combine two of the Werewolves with the Byakko for two +3 Silver Werewolves. Then take one Silver and fuse it with the last Werewolf to make an Orthrus. Then take the Orthrus and the last Silver Werewolf. And VOILA, you have yourself a Cerberus. Of its two highest stats Agility is first, and Attack is second. Personally when I make a Cerberus this way I make a fast Cerberus and put a Twin Claw on it. But for a stronger Cerberi I would use the Legend Claw.

So there you have it. I hope this helps. And have fun making your custom party ☠️.

My next installment will be a full breakdown of the Queens I mentioned and the best method to make the most of their spells elements and stats. And which equipment serves them best.

Stay tuned!
There's always something more to find.....

@Teiraisuu

There are so many lines I cannot quite understand on your post/reply on this thread. I feel like the information you share here is valuable so I cannot help myself but to request your clarification and elaboration on your post! So please if you're willing, clarify and use simple terms, simple English(baby level English preferred but not required because English isn't my first language, please!)

Here are the lines I'm requesting for elaboration, simplify, and clarify, please!

1. First, "The best place for that is in the post game, Monster Road 3"

This line, as I underetand it, the best place to farm something(I take it you're referring to farming Dark/Light Queen's required monster(s) combinations). Does post game mean after game completion(after defeating World Tree)? Also, where exactly is "Monster Road 3." I apologize but I don't seem to ever recall that location name on Summon Mate. Please clarify for me!

According to this: (http://game.shiftup.net/afa/rpg2/worldmap_en.html) There aren't any information about that location either!

2. Secondly, "The process I use is simple, but time consuming. It is as follows: pick the monster you want,"

I take it you mean by this is to choose my desired monster to level up and boost it stats etc, or it either means; choose unowned desired monster to obtain by the process of multiple absorbtion(s)/fusion(s) to finally then get the chosen desired monster... ? Please clarify!

3. "break it down to ALL of its combinations,"

This either implies and suggests me to break down and take note of the required monster combinations for absorbtion(s)/fusion(s) in order to acquire the/my desired chosen unowned target monster... ? Please clarify

4. "max out its level (A LOT OF GRINDING),"

Max out whose level exactly?? Max out the monsters that will be used in absorbtion/fusion?? Let's say I choose/desire a (Griffin), I would then need a (DeathCrow) + (KingGnu) in the absorbtion/fusion process in order to acquire my desired chosen monster. The Level of (DeathCrow) and (KingGnu) required for absorbtion/fusion is Level10. Are you telling me to MAX their level, way pass their required level before absorbtion/fusion for it to have the best stats Griffin?? What is the MAX level can a monster get? Level100? Can't I just absorb/fuse (DeathCrow) and (KingGnu) at Level10, then level up my (Griffin) to Level100 later or do I need to do your suggested method for the best stats for (Griffin)? Will there be any stats difference in these two methods?? Please elaborate on this point/line...

5. "happy and lucky rings are a must, and obtain two copies of each monster that will eventually make the target monster."

What in the holy hell does this line mean... Obtain two copies of WHAT monster?? Need clarification!!

6. "Before you begin fusing equip the first of the pair with the stat stone of your choice. And repeat the process until you have your monster. This way you have an extremely powerful version of your monster."

First of the pair??? What pairs?? Stat stones??? I have completed the game and I don't believe I have came across stat stones, what exactly are they, how do they work, how to equip them and where to get them?? It maybe because I'm too dumb to notice but can you please elaborate!! "Repeat the process until you have your monster." How? I didn't know we could repeat processes of any kind?? ... ...

7. "The first thing to gather is all of the monsters needed which are six Werewolves, and four Byakko,"

Do I need to store all the required monsters first instead of absorbing/fusing the first-caught pair of monsters for better/best (Cerberus) stats?? How does storing all the required monsters first affect anything if so how in the hell do they affect the stats/numbers/calculations? ...

8. "Once they are maxed out fusing."

What constitutes a MAXED out fusing?? +99 ?? Level100 ?

9. " For a hard hitting Cerberus I would use the power stone, and for a fast one I would use an agility stone."

I'm going to log in the game and see what equipable stones did I miss... in the meantime please educate me.

10. "Then equipping the stone combine the pairs, to make three +1 Werewolves and two +1 Byakko (making sure to swap the stone for each fusing). Then combine two of the Werewolves with the Byakko for two +3 Silver Werewolves. Then take one Silver and fuse it with the last Werewolf to make an Orthrus. Then take the Orthrus and the last Silver Werewolf. And VOILA, you have yourself a Cerberus."

This paragraph got me possessed by demons needing exorcism when reading every sentence reading. I can't tell whether this is just the normal absorbing/fusing process made into words or an improved special method for higher stats (Cerberus)/monsters. Please elaborate with careful baby English so that I can understand what the actual hell method here you're trying to tell me to do on that paragraph in order to get best stats monsters. Isn't this just a normal absorbing/fusing process just with the unknown stones equiping and unequiping extra steps? Please elaborate!

11. "Of its two highest stats Agility is first, and Attack is second."

I'm not sure what you're trying to tell me here. Are you telling me these high stats you're refering is because that's its monsters natural stats or an improved version thanks to your methods?

Either way, I need a lot of clarifications please I beg you anyone! Anyone other than the commentor/poster/author can explain go me any lines/points fromm 1-11? I'd really appreciate it. I apologize for my stupid brain for not understanding any of them! Please help me. Thank you very much for the post and help in advance, because even tho I don't understand a whole lot of your methods, I still could find and create new ideas of playing the game in possibly better ways, for possibly better monster stats! Thank you.

Extra question, I have noticed my monsters are decreasing in stats when I'm absorbing other monsters for their Magic/Skills. How is that possible? My monsters are consistently losing 1-10points in stats per +1 of absorbtions. Any ways to combat this peculiar game maths or anything?? Help anyone!

Please DM me on instagram for easy discussion about all this! Really would appreciate any knowledge, tips, and information on this vague poorly japanese translated RPG game that don't seem to get any better in its already 10years release.

5. “happy and lucky rings are a must, and obtain two copies of each monster that will eventually make the target monster.”

I may not be adding any clarity, or probably just tellling you what you already know:

Just put the happy rings on everybody not in the active party and EVERY monster will level up at once.

This may not be exactly what you are wondering about, but check the two posts in the topic about + numbers, particularly the post by mastertrek (and mine).

First, unless I'm wrong (I did not play this game in decades nor I do not know the code I used for saves.. rip save files) but I think there was an item that allowed fused monster to stay at max level after fusion.

Absorbtion is probably affected by stats of both the monster that is absorbing another monster and the said other monster. So fusing a +98 World Tree with 900 Attack with low level monster may result in overall stat decrease. Just like adding a rotten tomato to a Royal Sandwich does not improve its taste (Well some people may like it), but rather make it unsafe to eat at the very least.
