IMO, not a very good game.

- Low efforts palette swap monsters everywhere.
- Too much stats up item when the max is only 999. If you focus the stats up to one character it will obliterate everything.
- Awards for walking give you too much money that you wont ever finish spend
- Game is short, can be cleared in less than 10 hours. no postgame stuff.
- Story is so-so. I got bored and just skip it.

Even though Sephirothic Stories doesn't have random encounters, enemies are everywhere and they respawn whenever there's a loading screen.
There's a Shop accessory that effectively turns off regular battles; wearing it means that bumping into an enemy won't trigger a fight. This is great on console/PC versions, where the player can grind Shop currency in-game. On mobile versions, well... I believe its Shop price was only 150 of the Shop currency.
I've just started playing the Playstation version. The story and gameplay seem OK so far, and pretty typical for an Exe-Create RPG. I'll probably play it all the way through just because I like Izzy.
There are only two difficulties, Normal and Hard. So far, Hard has been quite easy in the early story areas, but fighting the first sidequest boss as soon as it became available was a mistake - it one-shot members of my team with every attack.
