Temple match 3 puzzle and world map

Match 3 Puzzle:

In Forest Temple and Verdant Temple, there are one room that only contains match 3 jewels for each temple. You need to clear the jewels for rewards. Note that you only need to clear YELLOW jewels in Verdant Temple. No need to clear all.

 

World Map:

Special thanks for random Japanese blog for finding the Strong Monster Zone Lv. 550. Unlike other hidden areas, Strong Monster Zone Lv. 550 is not on an island. You just simply walk east from Dusk Temple.

I had wasted half an hour trying to perfectly clear the puzzles in Forest Temple that I didn't need to perfectly clear (and that, I assume, can't be perfectly cleared anyway), until I finally realized that the not perfectly cleared puzzles also allowed me to proceed. *facepalm*

You don't need to clear all. You just need to open a path.

They could have made it so it could be cleared completely as it may be annoying to see sonething that is left untouched (like adding a chest in area you can never visit but is right there, 2 steps from you.. Mildly infuriating ?
