Hi All,

Very glad to have found this site, seems like a good bunch :) I came across this forum looking for info on my first Kemco game, Glorious Savior.

I'm rusty having not played an rpg in some years so hope I'm not too annoying with questions. Already I'm frustrated in the sourcer's cave, doh!

Anyway, thanks for having me ☺
Hi Doltina,

Welcome to the forum! I'm sure we'll be glad to help answer any questions you have about Glorious Savior. A bunch of us have already beat the game and I know there's more who are just starting it, so we should be able to help you out with anything you need.

I'm an old-school rpg kind of guy. I learned to read with D&D. I liked the games on SNES and Sega Genesis/CD, and Kemco so far seems to imitate those pretty well.
I'm a new father and either my wife or I watch our boy while the other works, so free time is pretty scarce for me. I have not yet played any of the titles you have to pay for, but probably will now that I have found you guys and this forum, I'm excited.

Congrats on being a new father! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
I envy you--you will NEVER find time to fool with these retro games :)

Yo Bro welcome to the forums!

If you want to know anything or need any help in the game, do not be hesitant to ask here. There are many nice people here who can help you ( if they were trolls, they would have incurred my wrath. Mwhahahaha *cough* ).

Welcome BlakeFox!

I grew up with SNES and Sega Genesis (and then PlayStation, when FF10 came out), and short of trying to go back and replay all those old games, I can say Kemco is definitely as close as I've ever found.

Their games are a lot shorter and often don't have a lot of depth to the stories or characters (there's some depth, but not as much as if it was 40-60 hours long obviously.) Then again, most of the games are pretty easy, up to the bonus content anyway, and even the paid games are typically $4 on Google Play.

Occasionally I'll find one I don't like at all, but on the other hand there are some that I have happily played two or three times (and some, like Symphony of the Origin, that I can play once every couple of months, and still enjoy!) Most games fall somewhere in the middle though; good one time, but not worth playing again.

Anyway I'm glad you found this site and hope you can get some enjoyment out of it (in your currently non-existent "free time" :silly: )

Hi guys! :D

I pretty much "discovered" this site when someone on Gamefaqs pointed me here for a walkthrough for Alphadia (thanks for that, by the way; I just completed the 3DS version and look forward to the E-Shop putting up more). Their boards and stuff are usually pretty helpful, but not so much for an "obscure" game like these.

So yeah, I "found" a plethora of JRPGs and other ported Cellphone games on the 3DS E-Shop and am slowly buying and going through them. Some of them Kemco, some not. (I've beaten Fairune and Alphadia for starters, and am now going to begin Justice Chronicles.)

Thanks again for this wonderful website and all the hard work you folks put into it. :D

Welcome aboard! Great to have another player going through these "obscure" (and not exactly current) games.

Hi J.D., welcome to the forum!

I guess we really are growing, for someone on gamefaqs to know to point you here. B)

I'm just coming off a period of inactivity, hoping to now have more time to spend on the site again. Let me know what you think of Justice Chronicles (I loved it, but it's heavy on grinding, well for a Kemco game anyway.)
