Well, more likely "worst possible game length on a normal playtrough" (thus far).
If you don't flee from any random encounter, read all the help, monster info and everything else on "data" section, grind for 150 SNP to buy 2x Cat Food and a Item Master, walk back from dungeons instead of using your Home Thread, explore all maps in hunt for treasure and get lost quite often, try solving the puzzles multiple times, and at one or two points you stop playing to drink coffee while the game clock is still running, you may get this time. Probably less. After all, I was enjoying the game >.> So I took some extra time on it. ^^' This game is composed by 30 story chapters, but each chapter is quite lenghty - can keep you busy for two or three days on vacations.

PS. Originally I didn't planned to post it here - this is why the caps are "Gold Island" instead of "CLEAR DATA". I loaded the file and saved again at Gold Island as I usually do before taking the shot.

This is the Switch version. Console versions make grinding Shop currency much easier; I believe an S rank victory is worth 3 SNP, A rank 2 SNP, and B rank 1 SNP.

I didn't buy any paid DLC. The experience and EP boosts (I think EP is to level up gems?) are pointless because it doesn't take long to grind gems to rank 10 or reach the postgame max level of 150, especially since almost every non-boss fight can be quickly destroyed through autobattling. The "No Encounters" DLC might be convenient but I didn't bother with it either.

One down side to autobattling is that the camera constantly pans back and forth between the party and the enemy. This might cause problems for players who are susceptible to motion sickness. I didn't personally experience any motion sickness; I just found the constant camera movement annoying.

It's a little too easy to lose track of where you're supposed to go or what you're supposed to do in Silver Nornir. A story record available in the menu helps, but I still recommend always saving one's game in whatever dungeon or town progresses the story. Sometimes story progression in a town requires going into the right building or talking to the right person; Silver Nornir is not like a player-friendly Exe-Create game where a story cutscene automatically plays upon entering specific towns at certain points.

It took me 15+ hours to complete the main game and 21+ hours to complete the postgame dungeon with optional superbosses (I also had fun visiting the postgame "developer's lounge"). Defeating the final optional superboss yields a bonus story sequence; I wouldn't call it a second ending since no credits play, but it was a nice reward for the hours of grinding spent to prepare.

If anyone wants to see the story sequence without fighting the final optional superboss, then there is at least one YouTube video online of the battle and its aftermath.

Perhaps I invested a little too much time grinding for Orihalcum to max out my chosen five characters' armor and Shop currency to get lots and lots of Miracle Gum, but I'd heard on these forums how tough the final optional superboss is and didn't want to meet him unprepared. He did not disappoint.
