Ok so i beat the game and i have a very important pro MLG tip to share about this game.

DO NOT USE BAROCH. THE GAME WILL KICK YOU IN THE NUTS FOR USING HIM.

Yes he is a playable character with the only one to have the natural earth element. He may seem excellent when you get him but if you focus your strength on Baroch, YOU WILL BE KICKED IN THE NUTS

Instead, go for a party with Leon, Jenim (Hardest hitter up till the endgame), Milfy, and Myu. Especially Milfy if you want to fight the bonus boss.(which i did not and foolishly used Enah instead because I wanted to try something different)

If you really want to know why i'm warning you without spoiling the game, then check at your own risk.
Baroch IS THE FINAL BOSS.. He fights you just when you finish the final dungeon.
I repeat,

DO NOT USE BAROCH. THE GAME WILL KICK YOU IN THE NUTS FOR USING HIM.

Oh, the memories... ;)

Also, along the same lines, DON'T GIVE HIM ANY OF YOUR SEEDS! (Just in case anyone is thinking about doing so.)

That is a really cheap move on the games part, really. I hate when games do that. Is there any indication at all that he could do this?? Wow, super lame. Alphadia was way too easy, is two a little harder?

2 is harder and all around better. And I don't remember for sure but I want to say it has a mini map? Perhaps someone can verify that.

I will say if you enjoyed the tragic ending in Alphadia, you should find the sequel to be equally satisfying (if not perhaps a bit better.)

Note to lurkers: The first game plays heavily into the sequel, so much that if you have not played the original, you won't be able to follow the whole story.

It does have a Mini Map. But only good memory will help you since the dungeons in this game are one hell of a challenge. I wasted half a hour trying to find the bronze key in the final one. Dungeons will take you almost a hour past Aureole.

As for the indication, there are moments where he plays the "suspicious ally" but the game dosen't even warn you to not use him. I was surprised when there was no major topics or anything of that sort informing people to not use Baroch.

Thanks for the heads up. This sounds like a perfect "I am staying home with a fever" type game. Where you HAVE to be lying down for hours, haha. So I will save this game for that occasion.
