How to Break the Game

Disclaimer: If you bought the Premium version and you follow this "strategy," you'll be ridiculously, stupidly, over powered, and the late game bosses will go down without any resistance (even on Hell mode). You have been warned...

I did this without planning for it; I just randomly decided at the start of the game to spend my 1000 free points on 2 Skill Level Beads. And the rest just followed:

Premium players only - at the start of the game, buy 1 or 2 Skill Level Beads. 1 will give you 3 EXP each time you use a skill; 2 will give you 5 EXP. (I don't know how effective this will be for Free players, but I imagine with a little trial and error you could do something similar; it would just take a bit longer to really kick in.)

1. Set the encounter rate to Double, and the difficulty wherever you want it. In every encounter, use skills on every turn. (Use Magic Sugar to restore your MP when needed.)

Only use a handful of skills for each character; that way those few skills can level up and gain more power. (I say skills but you can use skills or magic, whatever you like.)

2. Around the time you reach Coral City, you can also access the "back end" of Mount Garet (you don't go there as part of the story, but the dungeon is accessible.)

I believe Mount Garet has 4 Go ahead Gems (though hopefully someone can verify this for me; I know I had 5 of them total when I got the ship and I think 4 were in Mount Garet).

Anyway the Go ahead Gems give you a better chance of a preemptive strike, which will be helpful when you're ready to start grinding.

3. Once you get the ship (and open the Battle Arena), go through the Arena enough times that you can buy an Attract Gem (it costs 300 Coins.)

Now sail to any of the Gold Region islands (the diamonds on the map). Equip all the Go ahead Gems you have, and the Attract Gem, and if necessary put the difficulty on Easy. (Though you should be able to handle the enemies here on Hard, and possibly on Hell if your skills are strong enough.)

Stay here until you're around level 90, and the rest of the game will be a breeze. (Higher than 90, and you'll actually feel sorry for the enemies you encounter when you resume the story.)

* Disclaimer: I have not tested any of this as a Free player, nor have I tested it without the benefit of 2 Skill Level Beads. Nevertheless, I'm inclined to believe that this basic strategy could be used by anybody. (And if not, then I'm hoping that someone else can come along and offer a viable alternative.) ;)

I just beat the Normal End. Lunaria's stats are insane:

Everyone else is level 120 or so (I grinded way too much in the Gold Regions, encounters and Boss battles on Hell mode were a joke. Literally, the final boss battle took me about four rounds.)

I had a thought, but it may be awhile before I can get around to checking it:

Character levels probably don't matter nearly as much as Lunaria's stats. So your only priority in this game should be "growing" Lunaria until you unlock all of her skills.

I never paid attention in the early towns but I believe you can buy Fire Gem B, Aqua Gem B, etc. I just don't know how much those gems will raise her stats - or if they raise the same stats as the Fire Gem a, etc. But if you can raise her stats early enough (including SPD), she alone may be able to overpower the enemies. (Especially with one of her all-attack skills like Crazy Attack!, or Miracle Random Flurry. Of course you have to get her stats pretty high to unlock those two...)

If anyone is or already has tried just boosting Lunaria's stats, I'd love to hear how it worked out.Attachments:Lunaria.jpg

About the Go ahead Gems, I found 2 in Peridot Town.

It's very effective early in the game to give you pre-emptive strikes, on top of being OP with just normal attacks (on Hell difficulty ).
I'm Lv25 exploring The Watchtower right now. Imagine using Skills and Magic

Finished the True End (also a very satisfying ending.) Lunaria's stats were about the same as at Normal End, everyone else was maybe around level 130. The final boss whooped me on Hell mode. I probably could have beat him on Hard but just to be sure I switched to Normal.

If I get a chance (aka if I really feel like it) I'll try replaying without the Skill multiplier, and see if you can still at least make Lunaria massively OP just by boosting her stats early on.

Gold Region grinding: Lunaria has Critical 100%, Accelerate Gem, and Miracle Random Flurry. Otherwise I've equipped 2 Big Gems and 2 Solid Gems (Solid attracts "metal" monsters), and the Attract Gem. A few screenshots:

After 10-15 battles I have full gold, and go trade for 1000s of Guild Coins (and buy 99 each of Fire, Aqua, and Earth Gem a, to feed to Lunaria)Attachments:Screenshot_2016-08-08-13-55-23.jpgScreenshot_2016-08-08-13-53-49.jpgScreenshot_2016-08-08-13-52-39.jpg
