I did a little experiment using Xenoseed. I had him attack (he has 999 ATK) the same class enemy a few times to establish a base. Now, there is some random variation in damage, and also it is possible that not every apparently identical monster has the same defense stat, so the results are only good approximations.
It appeared that "Powerup" might hit for ratio of 2.25 to base, (but sometimes only 1.50), charge about the same, but reinforce looked like 2.50. (No criticals involved) If a critical was involved, it appears that that ratio is improved (for example, going from 2.5 to 3.75 for reinforce) by 50% (depending on how you calculate %).
The base attack varied as much as 50%! Also, it appears that counters see similar improvement when attack is buffed.
I'll do a few more trials later (hey, get the +3 LIP in just 2 or 3 turns having just one character move) to get larger sample, and I'll try to do the same for critical damage.
You guys sure do generate some work here :cheer: :cheer:

Hey, that's great! :woohoo: I never noticed that in your video! Now I know my break shield, etc. can work. And I learned that water and earth are strong against him (but my only water character is awful Meltia, who is just too easy to kill), I'll avoid fire and air attacks (which I wasn't using that i recall).
