Whoa! Kemco remembered they've had other groups besides Exe-Create working for them! Getting a bit of variety is nice, since E-C games share so many aspects, it makes me glad I have so many of Kemco's games I haven't played, so I won't be getting stuck playing ones by E-C over and over with nothing else to break things up.
I used only 2 torches to get through, and there are several you find along the way. I'd buy just two (you do need one right away) or at most 3.
I agree. Buy 3 to be on the safe side, but not a lot are needed as you find tons along the way. I think I purchased six, because of the first message (haha) and left the dungeon with like 8. I actually did the left side first, warped out when I got to the boss and than took the right side and finally choose to fight him. This game seems like it will be over rather quickly. I think I am already at 50% for items and I am only about an hour into it....

Agreed so much! The controls take some getting used to and I do not know why they decided to do the game length wise for the screen, but this is a refreshing change, as was dragons sinker. But this strikes me as a game that could be over in 5 hours or less. I am just over an hour in and have 50% items already..

I just tried this game for a good 5 minutes  and from what i've seen they tried to replicate what Square Enix did with their Dragon Quest Remakes on smartphone with the simple interface, vertical view and one finger(thumb) control. Though i have to say Squeenix did this a little better with the "action button" by simply tapping the center of the directional "ring."

Thanks, that makes sense!
The game is super short! I beat it in under 4 hours (3:25 actually), a little bummed. I got home from work around 3:15 and aside from a few breaks, basically just marathon-ed it. I guess there are a lot of extras...Will go forward with those!

I'm bummed to hear that it's so short but glad someone else already found out so now I can plan accordingly!
I just got the girl in my party. I'm not sure how I feel about the controls, but the story seems intriguing. Gameplay reminds me of Eve of the Genesis, which is in my top 5 favorites. Hopefully the bonus stuff is worthwhile?
One note... don't play the game on an empty stomach. I keep looking at my hero's equipment and seeing "Copper Taco" instead of "Copper Tattoo."

Lol, good advice! Better get a sandwich myself
. As a guess, I think there will be a few hours worth of extras, it seems. Post-game you can open all the blue chests so remember where they all are. I hope I remembered all of the locations but likely missed a few. If anyone can make a short list of some of the more forgettable ones, that would be cool. Some, of course, are more obvious!
