I'm super ahead of myself, but I do wonder, is the "everything bonus is New Game+" actually New Game+ only? Or is it like Infinite Dunamis, where almost everyone assumed everything bonus was accessible only from starting a second play-through, when it was really just the secret ending and the various additional scenes, and everything else could be done just from loading a clear save after defeating the final boss?

I'm not completely sure I understand what you're asking, but as for as the story is concerned you have to do a new game+ to get the additional scenes and final ending. (But you can fast forward through every "original" scene, which saves a lot of time).

As for the unmarked areas or things of that nature, I'm not really sure, because I don't think I bothered with all that until after my second playthrough...

On the Infinite Dunamis boards and guides, most the things that is said to be doable from a second playthrough onwards can actually also be done by simple beating the last boss, saving the clear save data, and loading it. You start right in front of the last boss, but can leave the area and so most of the things that the boards and guides say is for a second playthrough, like access the hidden arena or forge items with Rondylite, or access the secret areas blocked off originally in 3 of the dungeons.

I was wondering if the same was the case for this game, but I suppose I'll find out for myself before long. Thanks for the answer, though. :)

Oh ok. I would guess you can probably access the "unmarked areas" and do some grinding, but I'm really not sure about anything else.
