What a great review!  You hit all the high (or perhaps low) points with explanatory details and not just a word of evaluation.  Your discussion of the awful design of the multiple endings reveals an issue that would probably be invisible to all of us until we had gone way past the frustration point.  You removed any lingering regrets I had about not playing this game
