Felix - Here, kitty, kitty, kitty....

When I found Felix in the Shigure Temple - Underground, she says: ("Come see me at the inn in Akatsuki Town later. I'll give you something nice as a gift.") It seems we need to find her in 25 or 26 or ? locations to get the message to meet her later. The locations are RANDOM, or at least random-ish. Your final place won't necessarily be Shigure Spire - Underground, but is usually the last place for me.

Note: Felix doesn't appear at the inn until after Amalur Spire.

UPDATE: I have no idea what is going on with this quest. I'm doing another playthrough trying to get screenshots of Felix's locations. With meticulous backtracking, I was getting locations that followed the story line, BUT when I hit location #25, I didn't get the message to meet at the inn. So, "25" is not always the magic number.

UPDATE 2: Again, I got the message at Shigure Temple - Underground. However, this was my 26th location.

This is really a badly designed quest, and the end result sucks. It's only worth it for people who want to collect all the Mystic Orbs and Patterns.

I was going to upload screenshots, but with 25+ locations, it was a lot to scroll through. So, I just added a list of where I found her to the game page Felix Side Quest.

Try to go dungeon battle once and sleep once then go to akatsuki in, hope she will be there and get last mystic orbs.

Got it! All 40 orbs and all 10 patterns. Once Felix says to meet her later at the Akutsaki inn, keep progressing with the story, and go to the inn after Amalur Spire. She should be there. You will get a Mystic Orb and a Pattern.

Totally not worth the effort. I hope she gets fleas.

Amazing! What do you mean by "keep progressing with the story"? In my case, I have only the final battle to go, so I can't complete another story element without ending the game. Is it necessary to finish with Felix earlier?

Since you've completed Amalur, you should be able to complete the quest. But I'm not sure. The only thing I can recommend is backtracking to make sure you found Felix in 25 places.

I'm backtracking now. Order doesn't seem to matter, and that means poking around in all the places on your list. For example, I did just find #20,21,&22 on your list, but Felix isn't at #23, probably because I had found her there in the past. But then I found her at #24, but not at #25. So I need the 25 total, but I didn't keep track so I don't know how many I have. I've revisited almost all the locations on your list, but so far haven't found Felix again. I have a few more to check, and of course I'm going fast and might have missed her.

@rpgaddict Luther, the pattern is called Livestream.

Normal is 15% chance revived with 25% HP

Reverse is 20% chance of swoon from normal attacks. Doesn't work for bosses.

Your list did it!! I backtracked and eventually got the message at #23 (again confirming that it is the total of 25 needed, but order acquired is not critical. However, it is possible there are some hidden triggers that make partial order required). So 3 CHEERS for 3BEEZ--your efforts have created a ripple of success.

By the way, I'm impressed you kept records of Felix--for sure not something I would even have considered.
