15 consecutive overkills?

Anyone knows how to achieve the 15 consecutive overkills challenge? This is the only challenge left for me.

Also, what is the reward for beating the post game super boss in the grudge jail.

I don't remember the reward for beating the most difficult optional boss, so it can't be anything impressive.

As far as I know, there's only one way to reach 15 consecutive overkills: by equipping two Eight-Part Crests (and launching a normal attack on a weak enemy). Eight-Part Crests can only be obtained from the gacha, but since the gatcha is contingent-based, you must clear the whole contingent once before being able to obtain a second Eight-Part Crest.

Thanks for the info. It’s pretty weird that this game has 2 trophies and one challenge tied to the gacha system, that’s very unfair. I only need the heave dagger to complete the weapon set.

Update: I killed the super boss and he did give any worthwhile rewards, so it’s not worth it.

for the 15 overkills, the gach gave me calamity weapons that make the attack command damage all enemies. I wonder if you need only 1 of the 8 hit accessory to get the award.

Do I understand that correctly: You earned the 15 overkills achievement using two Eight-Part Crests? Then that's still the only way, even if obtaining said achievement nets you a weapon that would let you earn the achievement - if not already earned - without using a second Eight-Part Crest. Also, considering how the overkills achievement works in other Exe Create games, it must be one and the same enemy that suffers from the overkills. Overkilling, for example, three enemies five times each doesn't qualify for the achievement - only overkilling one enemy fifteen times does.

Furthermore, I suspect that when you attack a group of enemies using an all-target weapon and one Eight-Part Crest, the 8 hits are split up between all enemies instead of hitting each enemy eight times, but even if I was wrong, this setup wouldn't help because of the aforementioned restriction (it's the same enemy that needs to be overkilled).

Anyway, congratulations on beating everything the game has to offer - unless you, like many other players at the end, still want/need to farm Premium Tickets in order to obtain job books and such.

I still haven’t gotten the 15 overkills, I am seeing if there is an alternative way besides restarting the awards to get another 8 hit crest. I also got 9 overkills in the counter by using the archer skill that hits an enemy line 5 times, so hopefully it will work.

I also need the two job items to unlock the arena trials for the PlayStation platinum. It’s still annoying to put a gacha wall behind those things.
